Our area is a brilliant and unique place to live, with strong communities on our estates and streets, and neighbours who look out for each other, right in the heart of London. It deserves councillors who are visible, responsive, and focused on getting the basics right.

We are Monsur Ahmed, Anna Bayraktar and Arif Hussain, your Liberal Democrat team for Chaucer. Monsur volunteers with Crisis, supporting people experiencing homelessness. Anna led the Ada100 Tulip Walk project for Greener Bermondsey, bringing neighbours together and building local pride. Arif volunteers with Living Bankside, supporting community activity locally. 

Over the last few months we have knocked on thousands of doors across the ward, listening to residents and hearing clearly what people want to see change. What residents raise with us is straightforward. They want cleaner streets, real action on fly-tipping, and safer neighbourhoods, including better lighting and more visible wardens. Residents also want a council that responds properly, so problems get fixed quickly instead of being left to drag on.

On election day, Chaucer is a straight choice. The Greens have never won here, and the only party that has ever beaten Labour in Chaucer is the Liberal Democrats. A vote for anyone else risks splitting the opposition vote and letting Labour in again.

If you want change in Chaucer, the only way to deliver it is to vote Liberal Democrat.
