The Blue should be a thriving heart of South Bermondsey — with local shops, a busy market, community spaces and streets people feel proud of. But too many residents feel the area has been left behind.

Now Labour has lost control of Southwark Council, there is a chance to do things differently.

Rachel Bentley and the Bermondsey Liberal Democrats want to hear directly from local residents, traders and community groups about what needs to change at The Blue and Bermondsey High Street.
