Camberwell Green

Sarah Anderson chose to make Camberwell her home because she loves its strong sense of community, its character, its local businesses and the mix of people who make the area what it is. Working in education policy, Sarah got involved in politics because of her own experience of social mobility. “I believe that every child should have the support they need to get the best possible start in life,” said Sarah. She already puts that into practice as a local primary school governor.

WHY CAMBERWELL?
For Sarah, Camberwell is one of the best places in London to live: energetic, welcoming and full of character. But loving somewhere also means wanting to make it better. Sarah is campaigning for a safer, greener and more affordable Camberwell - improving community safety, tackling problems such as badly parked e-bikes, making it easier to keep streets clean and making sure residents are listened to when decisions are made. She is particularly passionate about street lighting, community safety and making our neighbourhoods feel safer.

She loves living in Camberwell. Now she wants to give back to the community and continue to make it such a great place to live.
