Stop the litter in Southwark's Parks

Our parks are treasured assets for our communities, but unfortunately they are too often blighted by litter. This has been an issue repeatedly raised by councillors and campaigners, and unfortunately our council has not done enough to resolve the issue. Pupils at Southwark Park Primary school have started a campaign to install recycling bins in Southwark Park, with their school council writing letters to the cabinet members urging action. Cllr Rachel Bentley met with the school council to hear about their campaign, and passed the letters on to the cabinet members.

Stop the litter in Southwark's Parks

We the undersigned support the campaign started by pupils of Southwark Park Primary School to install recycling bins in Southwark Park, as well as more bins for both general and recycling waste across all parks in Southwark”
