Southwark Liberal Democrats are inviting local people to take part in a conversation about the future of their local area, bringing people together from across Southwark to discuss their ideas for making our borough a better place to live and work.

The event, which will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday 20th July at the Queensborough Community Centre in SE1, is a unique opportunity for local residents to let councillors know what is important to them and what they would like to see change in their local area through a number of small and informal group discussions.

And as Councillor Anood Al-Samerai, Liberal Democrats Group Leader in Southwark, explains,no idea is off the table:

“We have lots of ideas about what we could do to make the borough better but we also want to hear what local residents think could be done differently.”

“We will bring the tea, coffee and cake so all local residents need to do is bring their best ideas on how they would like to improve Southwark.”
