After 10 years of campaigning by the Liberal Democrats, the Mayor of London has finally acquiesced to building a bridge between the Rotherhithe Peninsula and Canary Wharf.  In our Plan for Southwark, the Liberal Democrats look to implement our successful cycle quietways to link with the new bridge whilst making it a great experience for pedestrians to make their way to and from work without needing any form of transport.
