Today is the day the council starts to send out ballot papers to residents who have registered for a postal vote. So for many the time to register their final decision on who they want to represent them on the council is fast approaching.
Postal ballot papers will be dropping through doors over the next couple of days, for those who have asked for them. (Don’t worry if you don’t receive your postal ballot in this batch - another lot is being sent out on Monday). All residents must now start to look at what’s on offer and decide which way to vote.
The Liberal Democrat manifesto in Southwark focuses on homes, kids, jobs and a council tax cut. Local Liberal Democrats want to make the borough a better place by running a council that is on the side of residents, gets the basics right on local services and housing repairs, and improves the value for money for local taxpayers. If we take control of the council on 22 May that’s exactly what we’ll do.
