Newington Lib Dems celebrate new Children's Playground in Kennington Park

Newington Lib Dem Councillors Caroline Pidgeon and James Gurling were delighted to join the Friends of Kennington Park at the weekend to celebrate the official opening of the new Children's playground in the park.

The Friends group works tirelessly to get additional funding into the park to transform this important environment for local residents in both Southwark and Lambeth.

"It was a fantastic fun day with lots of entertainment of children and stalls to browse and shop. Well done to the Friends of Kennington Park for such a successful day and a wonderful new playground in the park" said Cllr Caroline Pidgeon AM.
